Create websites visually accessible to users by organising information structure and using image manipulation skills.
Before
After 1 - Flat design
After 2 - Textured design
Case study
This case study describes the process of creating two renewed designs.
1. Set personas and clear conditions that the website must meet.
Conditions:
- Clean and neat.
- The design does not give the fear of dentistry, and it is trustworthy and sophisticated.
- Simple UI that can be used by all ages.
- UI that is easy to reach the inquiry link, which is the most important conversion of this website.
2. Based on the above criteria, I researched similar websites and used them as references for content placement and design.
3. Create wireframes to determine which content will be placed in which areas and a rough UI design.
4. Create moodboard and colour codes, and collect materials that could be used for each content. In this case, I also created a logo for a dental clinic.
5. Two types of websites were created: one is a Flat design utilising illustrations and flat UI, and the other is a Textured design utilising photo and image materials. Material selection, button and content widths are adjusted and finalised in px units.
