I created a fictional music event website using the WP theme, OceanWP and the free WP plugin, Elementor.

Some customisation was done using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

This website is responsive design and should adapt easily to different browsers and mobile interfaces.

Case study

Process of the project

Sitemap

Organised the necessary pages, content, and functions, and determined how to incorporate each into the website.

Wireframe

Following the site map, a wireframe was created to determine the image and text placement, title and body text for each piece of content.

Moodboard

Determined the mood and colours of the site and created a moodboard by collecting websites with similar moods.

Visual identity

Established the colour palette, fonts, font sizes for each component, and button styles to be used on the website following the moodboard.

Logo creation

Using the colour palette as a reference, I created a logo to be used for the header and footer of the website.

To emphasise that the event is a music event in Brighton, I used a guitar image and the Royal Pavilion image in the logo.
